Quilts for MS

Auntie Ju's Quilt Shoppe recently participated in an event to raise funds for MS through the Baton Rouge LA MS Chapter at their 'On The Move Luncheon'.  We were happy to donate the pictured quilt.

Pictured left to right are, Bill Byerly, Regional Director of MS Society, Judy Williams, local chapter member, Jimmy Fahrenholtz, Regional Director of MS Society, Linda Vannoy, local chapter member,  Rebecca Pennington, Regional MS staff member and Frances Billeaud, local chapter member.
In a note from Frances Billeaud, she explained, "The MS Association raises money for research to assist those who've been diagnosed with the possibility of effective medications, and possibly to reverse the process (this is looking very promising), and to eventually stomp out the disease. It also supports the National MS Resource Center, which provides patients and families with specific information about what sort of help is available wherever they are, dealing with the expense of the medications, providing all sorts of support services and information.  So, the dollars are well-spent on important work. Your contribution will not only be a gift to the research effort, but somebody is going to go home with a treasure! Thank you ever so much."
