Hey, everyone, things are getting back to normal after our latest big 'Ice Storm in the South'.   Auntie Ju's was closed for a couple of days, we couldn't get anywhere - post office, bank, etc., and were without electricity for 3 days. All schools and a lot of businesses didn't even open their doors.

The good news, we could quilt non-stop!  I was able to finish this table runner, designed, pieced and quilted by Julie Ploehn-Vigna Designs.  Now to write the pattern and get it printed in time for its debut at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival in 10 short days - Feb. 27 thru March 2, 2014 in Hampton Roads VA!

This 'Jefferson County Table Runner', was made from the Windham line of fabrics called 'Jefferson County'.

approx. 18" x 41"

And, so we continue to get ready for our next show.  Julie is dying wool, Peggy is working on some new projects and we are making lots of kits so we'll be fully stocked for your shopping experience!

We have two Blocks of the Month going on, we hope you'll consider joining one of these projects.

Simply Red can be made with either all fabric or fabric background with red wool appliqué, approx. 54" x 65" finished.

approx. 70" square finished

Mastering Miniatures is all cotton fabric by Judi Rothermal and Marcus Brothers.  When finished you will have a book of 50 different 6" blocks to use to design future quilts and a beautiful heirloom quilt to pass along to some lucky person in your circle of family and friends!

'Til next time, stay warm and keep quilting!
